Behavioral Health RN – Jericho, NY (90% Remote).

Location: Jericho, NY (90% remote).
Employment Type: 0.5 FTE / 20 hours per week, 1099 contract.
Rate: $55.00/hour.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Behavioral Health RN to join a non-profit organization located in Jericho, NY. This 1099 contract role serves as a Behavioral Health Subject Matter Expert, providing clinical expertise in the development of resources and identification of best practices around evidence-based guidelines to identify and treat tobacco use disorder (TUD). This position is ideal for an experienced RN with a strong behavioral health background and a passion for quality improvement and public health initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a behavioral health field or equivalent.
Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in New York State.
At least three (3) years of experience working on behavioral health-related projects.
Experience in quality improvement preferred.
Significant experience in Behavioral Health and Quality Improvement (QI), particularly hands-on experience with PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) cycles.
Proficiency in developing resources, identifying best practices, and contributing to report writing and deliverables.
Strong clinical expertise in behavioral health and tobacco use disorder.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project leads and team members.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Report to the Program Lead / Health Information Technology Subject Matter Expert.
Provide subject matter expertise in the development of resources and identification of best practices around the use of evidence-based guidelines to identify and treat tobacco use disorder.
Assist with content for report writing and deliverables, and other activities as needed.
