Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to fill an opening with a skilled care facility located in Queens, New York. This evening shift position is ideal for a compassionate and experienced CNA looking to make a meaningful impact in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant training program.
- Licensure: Must have an active New York State Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license.
- Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing home setting.
- Requirements:
- Must be immune to Hepatitis B (proof of immunity required).
- Must be available to work every other Saturday and Sunday
- The schedule and shift assignments are subject to change based on the operational needs of the facility

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs and overall well-being, to the nursing team.
- Ensure resident safety and comfort throughout the night shift, responding promptly to call lights and resident needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injury and promote resident independence.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.
