Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Verify patient identity and physician orders prior to imaging.
- Position patients safely and accurately for procedures.
- Minimize radiation exposure using proper shielding techniques.
- Explain procedures and address patient concerns.
- Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team.
- Keep accurate and timely imaging records.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
- ARRT Certification preferred.
- Medical background (EMT, CMA, or Medical Assistant) preferred.
- Strong technical and patient care skills.
