Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead and oversee school nursing services across multiple school districts in New York City. This leadership role focuses on clinical governance, staff supervision, compliance, and ensuring high-quality, student-centered care aligned with public health standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s preferred.
  • Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Experience managing multi-site nursing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of NYS Nurse Practice Act and school health regulations.
  • Experience with health information systems (ASHR, SESIS preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to equity and culturally competent care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for school-based nursing services.
  • Supervise and manage nursing staff across multiple locations.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with DOE, DOHMH, and NYS regulations.
  • Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with school administrators and public health agencies.
  • Oversee documentation, reporting, and Medicaid compliance.
  • Lead audits, investigations, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Promote equitable and culturally competent healthcare delivery.
