Pay: $108 – $177/hour (negotiable)

Position Overview
We are seeking an Endocrinologist to join our established multispecialty outpatient practice in East New York, Brooklyn. Qualifications:
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Active NY State medical license.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
  • Must be working or associated with a hospital setting.
  • Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, empathy, patient-centered focus, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, nodules, cancer), osteoporosis, pituitary and adrenal disorders, and metabolic syndromes.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical examinations, and interpretation of laboratory and diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management (insulin, thyroid hormones, etc.) and lifestyle modifications.
  • Order and interpret specialized endocrine testing such as glucose tolerance tests, thyroid ultrasounds, fine-needle aspirations, and hormone level assays.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, dietary modifications, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, primary care physicians, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
  • Stay current with advancements in endocrinology research, treatments, and technologies.
