Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, with 1–2 Saturdays per month
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician (Bilingual Bengali) to join our team at a multi-specialty practice in Queens, NY. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population, with a specific focus on serving the Bengali-speaking community.

Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- New York State medical license; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Open to new graduates.
- Bilingual in Bengali, or relevant experience supporting Bengali-speaking or comparable communities.
- Proficient in physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and utilizing electronic health records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Bengali, strong clinical judgment, cultural competence, empathy, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive family medicine services, including routine check-ups, health screenings, immunizations, and preventive care for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections, and other common illnesses.
- Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and treatment options — delivering all education in both English and Bengali as needed.
- Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals within the practice.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
- Provide culturally competent care that respects the language, beliefs, and practices of Bengali-speaking patients and their families.
- Serve as a trusted medical resource for the Bengali community, helping bridge language and cultural barriers to healthcare access.
