Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time MRI Screening Technologist to join an Imaging Office at a Radiology Group in Freehold, NJ. This role requires an experienced professional with significant MR work experience, particularly with high-field magnets. The position offers a highly competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to train in and perform remote MRI scanning.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
  • Licensure: ARRT(MR) certification required.
  • Experience: At least 8 months of MR work experience required; high-field magnet experience is a must; GE high-field magnet experience. preferred; Phillips and Siemens experience a plus; CT experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: 
    • May be required to train in and perform remote MRI scanning.
    • Will be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI exams with accuracy and care using high-field magnets across multiple office locations.
  • Operate and maintain MRI imaging equipment according to established protocols on various equipment brands (GE, Phillips, Siemens).
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures, including screening for MRI safety contraindications.
  • Train in and perform remote MRI scanning as required.
  • Adhere to all department and facility safety protocols, especially when working in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment.
  • Maintain required certifications and stay current with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members as needed.
  • Utilize CT experience as a plus when applicable.
  • May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment.
