Location: Assignment-based, Multiple locations (Arizona clinic locations and surrounding areas, as applicable)
Employment Type: Contract / As needed
Hourly Rate: $60 per hour

Position Overview:
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness independently or as part of a healthcare team; may focus on health promotion and disease prevention; may order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests and may prescribe medication.

Qualifications:
  • Job qualifications & certifications:
    • Active Nurse Practitioner authorization/licensure as required for the assignment location.
    • Graduate education as required for the Nurse Practitioner role.
    • Eligible to prescribe medication where authorized.
    • Outpatient/clinic experience preferred.
    • Subject to client/solicitation onboarding requirements (licensure verification, background screening, and any required pre-placement documentation).
  • Skills:
    • Clinical judgment and patient-centered communication.
    • EHR documentation proficiency.
    • Diagnostic reasoning and treatment planning.
    • Collaboration and care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in the EHR per clinic workflow.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work) consistent with scope and clinic protocols.
  • Prescribe medications where authorized; provide patient counseling and follow-up instructions.
  • Coordinate care with partnering clinicians and interdisciplinary staff; refer patients as appropriate.
  • Support preventive care and health promotion activities as directed by clinic leadership.
