Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Active NY State Nurse Practitioner license; Board Certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient cardiology Nurse Practitioner experience.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems, cardiac diagnostics (e.g., EKG, stress tests), and treatment protocols.
  • Strong communication, empathy, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-paced settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cardiovascular assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to manage chronic and acute cardiac issues.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., echocardiograms, Holter monitors).
  • Educate patients on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with practice standards.
