Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Board Certified.
  • Open to new graduates.
  • Proficient in performing diagnostic tests, operating medical equipment, and utilizing electronic health records.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical exams and patient observations.
  • Record patients' medical histories and symptoms.
  • Create patient care plans and contribute to existing ones.
  • Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests.
  • Monitor and operate medical equipment.
  • Diagnose health issues.
  • Administer medication and other treatments.
  • Detect changes in patients' health and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals and families.
  • Educate patients and families on managing and preventing illness and injury.
