Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist to fill an opening within a Federally Qualified Health Center located in Patchogue, NY. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to diverse patient populations in a community health setting.

Qualifications:
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Active NY State license, DEA registration, and Board Certification.
- Experience: Experience with diverse patient populations in community health settings is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in prenatal care, intrapartum management, postpartum care, gynecologic surgery, family planning, and electronic health records.
- Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, cultural competence, empathy, and the ability to collaborate with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care.
- Perform outpatient sessions and surgical procedures.
- Participate in on-call coverage and hospital rounds.
- Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers.
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance.
