One-On-One Licensed Practical Nurse - Cherokee County, GA (#R10274)

Location: Cherokee County, Georgia
Employment Type: Contract / School-Based
Hourly Rate: $25 - $38 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides one-to-one nursing care to assigned students under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or physician, supporting the student's health needs to enable safe access to educational services.

Qualifications:
  • Job qualifications & certifications:
    • Current, unencumbered Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
    • Current CPR certification
    • Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
    • Spanish-English bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
    • Effective communication with supervising nurses and school staff
    • Ability to follow care plans and clinical protocols
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct one-to-one nursing care to assigned students.
  • Assist with health monitoring, treatments, and medication administration.
  • Observe and document student condition and report changes to the supervising RN.
  • Support implementation of individualized healthcare plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation.
  • Comply with FERPA, HIPAA, and CCSD confidentiality standards.
  • Follow district, school, and agency policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with school staff and special education teams.
