We are currently seeking a Pediatrician to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in the Bronx, New York. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults in a supportive and collaborative outpatient setting.

Qualifications:
- Education: MD from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Must have a New York State medical license. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Experience: Open to new grads.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in performing pediatric physical examinations, administering immunizations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and utilizing electronic health records.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with children and families, strong clinical judgment, empathy, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including routine well-child visits, developmental screenings, immunizations, and preventive health education.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic childhood illnesses and conditions such as respiratory infections, asthma, allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, and infectious diseases.
- Monitor and track growth and developmental milestones from infancy through adolescence.
- Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans appropriate for pediatric patients.
- Educate parents and caregivers on nutrition, safety, injury prevention, disease management, and age-appropriate developmental expectations.
- Coordinate care with pediatric specialists and other healthcare professionals within the multi-specialty practice.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social needs of pediatric patients and their families.
