Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Pediatrician to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in the Bronx, New York. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults in a supportive and collaborative outpatient setting.

Qualifications:
  • Education: MD from an accredited medical school.
  • Licensure: Must have a New York State medical license. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Experience: Open to new grads.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in performing pediatric physical examinations, administering immunizations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and utilizing electronic health records.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with children and families, strong clinical judgment, empathy, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including routine well-child visits, developmental screenings, immunizations, and preventive health education.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic childhood illnesses and conditions such as respiratory infections, asthma, allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, and infectious diseases.
  • Monitor and track growth and developmental milestones from infancy through adolescence.
  • Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans appropriate for pediatric patients.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on nutrition, safety, injury prevention, disease management, and age-appropriate developmental expectations.
  • Coordinate care with pediatric specialists and other healthcare professionals within the multi-specialty practice.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
  • Provide compassionate, family-centered care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social needs of pediatric patients and their families.
