Position Overview:
We are seeking a bilingual Mandarin Physician Assistant to provide housecall services in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This unique role offers the support of a personal driver to worksites and welcomes new graduates. Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling is available.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Licensure: Active New York State PA License (Required).
  • Certification: Board Certified as a Physician Assistant.
  • Experience: Open to New Graduates.
  • Language: Must be Bilingual in Mandarin (Required).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation. Comfortable providing care in home settings.
  • Soft Skills: Highly independent, excellent communication skills (particularly with Mandarin-speaking patients), compassionate, adaptable, and culturally sensitive.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations in patients' homes.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within the PA scope of practice.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Provide patient and family education on health maintenance and disease management.
  • Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters.
