We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join a well-established clinic located in Brooklyn, NY. Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted New York State Physician Assistant License.
  • Certification: Must be Board-certified.
  • Experience: Must have experience in Neurology.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating common acute and chronic conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications. Experience with Allscripts/Veradigm systems is required.
  • Language: Bilingual English/Russian or bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach. Strong clinical judgment and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including conducting health assessments, taking medical histories, and performing physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, developing individualized treatment plans under physician supervision.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies such as laboratory tests and imaging.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments within the scope of practice and state regulations.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment adherence.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record.
