Qualifications:
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Active New York State Medical License (Required).
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Language: Must be bilingual in Spanish (Required).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management. Comfort with hybrid/telepsychiatry modalities.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills (Spanish/English), cultural competence, empathy, strong clinical judgment, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing care to patients.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy.
- Conduct hybrid sessions, including both in-person and telehealth appointments.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists within the multi-specialty practice.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
- Provide culturally competent care to Spanish-speaking patients.
