Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Active New York State medical license (required).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Proficiency in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.
- Comfort with hybrid/telepsychiatry modalities.
- Excellent communication, cultural competence, empathy, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing care to patients.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy.
- Conduct hybrid sessions, including both in-person and telehealth appointments.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists within the practice.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
- Provide culturally competent care to patients.
