Position Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to conduct nursing home surveys and complaint investigations across long-term care facilities in Albany, NY. This role is ideal for RNs with experience in utilization review, compliance, or clinical operations seeking a career in healthcare regulation and quality assurance.

Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday (Flexible hours).
- Travel required for on-site facility surveys.
Qualifications:
- Active New York State RN license.
- Nursing degree (BSN preferred).
- Experience in utilization review, claims, investigations, OR.
- 3 years clinical or administrative experience.
- SMQT certification (preferred or obtainable within 12 months).
- Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct nursing home surveys and complaint investigations.
- Evaluate compliance with federal & state regulations.
- Document findings and prepare Statements of Deficiencies (SOD).
- Review Plans of Correction and follow-ups.
- Enter data into state and federal systems.
- Participate in hearings, monitoring, and regulatory processes.
- Travel to assigned facilities as required.
