Qualifications
  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner license upon hire
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
  • Previous experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred but not required; new graduates may be considered
  • Proficiency in respiratory therapy equipment, ventilator management, airway clearance techniques, and oxygen therapy
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, ability to work in fast-paced environments, and compassionate patient care

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Set up and operate ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory equipment
  • Administer respiratory therapies including aerosolized medications and chest physiotherapy
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate patient records and respond to emergency situations (e.g., code blue)
