Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: Active New York State RN License.
- Certification: BLS certification (must be current or willing to recertify).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care facility (within the past 2 years).
- PACU experience is required.
- Previous critical care experience is essential.
- Technical Skills: EPIC EMR proficiency (strongly preferred).
- Soft Skills: Adaptability, critical thinking, and teamwork in fast-paced settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized post-anesthesia care for adult critical care patients.
- Monitor and manage patient recovery, complications, and pain control.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and patient management.
