Position Overview
We are seeking a School-Based Mental Health Professional to provide counseling, assessments, and behavioral support to students in an educational setting. This role focuses on improving students’ emotional well-being, behavior, and academic success through direct care and collaboration with school staff and families.

Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday (school hours)
- No weekends or major holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling.
- Conduct mental health assessments and screenings.
- Develop and implement intervention plans.
- Support students with behavioral and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families.
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
- Provide referrals to external resources as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
- Active state license (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred.
- School certification (if required).
- Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
- Strong communication, crisis intervention, and collaboration skills.
- Cultural competency and organizational skills.
