Position Overview:
Provide specialized surgical support for pediatric procedures in a Level I trauma center and academic medical environment. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal outcomes for pediatric patients across complex specialties.

Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience (within the last 4 years) in:
- Acute care facilities comparable to Level 1 trauma centers or teaching hospitals.
- Specialty areas such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, vascular, ENT, bariatric, GU, and GYN.
- Pediatric experience is preferred.
- Scrub experience is required.
- Technical Skills:
- Complex pediatric scrub procedures.
- Sterile field maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare/sterilize instruments for pediatric surgeries.
- Anticipate surgeon needs during complex procedures.
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection protocols.
- Handle specialized pediatric surgical equipment.
- Assist in trauma, orthopedic, and neurosurgical cases.
- Coordinate specimen management and documentation.
