Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Licensure: ARDMS Registered in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN required; ARDMS or ARRT Registered in Vascular Sonography required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of work experience as an Ultrasound Vascular Technologist.
- Technical Skills: May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound and vascular sonography exams with accuracy and care across multiple specialties (Abdomen, Breast, OB/GYN, Vascular).
- Operate ultrasound imaging equipment according to established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
- Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Adhere to all department and facility safety protocols, especially when working in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment.
- Maintain required certifications (ARDMS, ARRT) and stay current with industry standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members as needed.
- May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment.
