Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Perform venipuncture, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
- Insert IV lines and Foley catheters.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient data.
- Assist with respiratory treatments and therapeutic procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
- Active New York State LPN license.
- Current BCLS, Infection Control, and Child Abuse certifications.
- 1–2 years of ambulatory care experience preferred.
- Skills in venipuncture, immunizations, and medication administration.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
