Qualifications:

Education: Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Licensure: Active New York State Physical Therapist license.
Experience: Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
Technical Skills: Proficient in developing and implementing treatment plans, therapeutic exercise programs, manual therapy techniques, and utilizing electronic medical records.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, compassion, patience, and the ability to motivate patients. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history review, functional assessments, and range of motion testing.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
Provide therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes in accordance with practice standards.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term recovery.
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals within the multispecialty practice to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
