Position Overview:
Deliver specialized nursing care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical setting, focusing on burn, trauma, and general surgery patients. Join a collaborative team committed to excellence in outpatient care.

- Experience: Outpatient oncology experience with the administration of chemotherapy is preferred.

hQualifications:
- Education: ADN/BSN from an accredited program
- Licensure: Active NY RN License
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of comparable size and level as Hospital.
- Must have experience in ambulatory, oncology or surgical settings.
- Travel nurses must have experience in hospitals of equal or larger size or trauma centers.
- Technical Skills:
- BLS certification required; must be able to maintain/renew certification as needed.
- EPIC EMR proficiency (preferred)
- Soft Skills:
- Patient education expertise
- Team collaboration in high-volume settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for surgical/trauma patients
- Educate patients/families on post-procedure care
- Coordinate with surgical teams for seamless care transitions
- Maintain accurate EPIC documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols in specialty areas
